Improving your Windows performance to let your computer run faster and smoother. Let following some tips below.
1. Disable Startup applications
After a long run, your computer may install a lot of apps, some apps will startup along with windows. It may cause windows to slow down during startup. To fix this, let stop applications during windows startup.
Open Windows Settings by press Start > Settings > Apps > Startup. Once it opened, you can turn-off one by one.
2. Turn-off Tipping
Desiring to make the best user experience, Microsoft has added a feature of tips and suggestions on how to get the most out of the OS. It will slightly impact performance since it scans your computer. To turn off this feature, on the Windows Settings go to System > Notifications & actions toggle Get tips, tricks and suggestions as you use Windows.
3. Disable background apps
Windows apps still running in the background and continue their tasks without user interaction. Although these features can be useful in a number of scenarios, apps running in the background (even when you didn’t start them) can drain battery, waste bandwidth and system resources. Honestly, I will stop it right away.
In the Windows Settings, go to Privacy > Background apps. Here you can turn off whatever you want.
4. Optimizing drives
After a long run, file your computer hardware will get fragmented. Optimizing your drives can help your PC run smoother and boot up faster. To optimize them: go to Windows Settings > System > Storage > Optimize Drives
5. Remove unnecessary apps
Try uninstall the unnecessary apps, this is also a trick. Go to Apps in Windows Settings, navigate to Apps & features, remove unnecessary apps.
6. Less visual effects
You can also speed up your computer by disabling some windows effects.
7. Disable transparency effects
Last but not least, DON’T forgets to get the latest update from Windows Update.
