For a long time, you have been familiar with the Snipping Tool of Windows, it used to capture and save images of computer screens. Now, Microsoft has added a screenshot tool with a new appearance, or rather, it is improved from Snipping Tool. Known as Snip & Sketch, this application not only take screenshots, it also supports marking, annotating, sharing the final image more easily than ever. Let check it out.
To get start, open the Snip & Sketch from Windows search. Here you can start taking screenshots by clicking the New button, you have 3 options to take a screenshot, Snip now, Snip in 3 seconds and Snip in 10 seconds.
Another way to fast capture by pressing combo Windows key + Shift + S to open a capture menu. The Snip & Sketch also support to take a shot of the entire screen, Windows screen, a rectangular section, or a freeform area.
After taking a screenshot, you will see an image from Windows notification area. By default setting, the Snip & Sketch will save your image to the clipboard, which means you can paste and share your image instantly without having to save down the file.
There are many mark up tool such as touch writing, highlighting, ruler,… You can caption, make notes whatever you like.
Let go to dig the other settings.
Setting Snip & Sketch to open by PrtScn key.
Just click Yes.
At the Print Screen shortcut, toggle to the On mode. Please ensure that you have disabled Print Screen configuration with any other application and restart Windows 10 computer to take effect.
The other option is a Snip outline, it will make your image more impressive. At here you can adjust the color and the thickness of the outline.
To share a final image, click the Share icon and choose your sharing option.
